<center><img src="http://www.tylersquarterly.com/turbines.jpg"></center><p>Okay,
I've been doing a lot of research and the only difference between the K03 and K04 turbos seems to be the fins of the turbine. The housing is dimensionally the same, but the inner turbine fins of the K04 are larger in surface area and with a higher angle of pitch. Couldn't somebody simply change the fins of a K03 and have the same end result as a complete K04 turbo?????
Feedback on this anyone???

isnt that also larger or is it simply the turbine blades that change the characteristics of the exhaust flow?

Doing a K03 hybrid project. I would like to take a set of K03's (slightly used) replace the compressor wheel to see what the increase in boost would be and how stable i can run these with stock intercoolers.
Here is another question ---
With this setup wouldnt there be more of a demand for larger cooling through the intercoolers?
Would the turbo suffer from lack of sufficient cooling due to increased boost pressure and therefore potentially damage the turbo?
