The recommendations are to clean alcantara with water...
thats all you need to use. I have been using the bissell solution with no probelms yet. This is the third time I used it on the alcantara. It dries as soft as when new. In fact it's better than a damp sponge b/c the water is sucked out, taking the dirt with it....

Safe to use, but all yo get is wet leather....
I'd use something else. I don't want to rub alcantara to clean it, so this is the best way to go, with it sucking out the dirt and water.
