Another attempted theft in the dirty Jerzy
Well after a grand total of 8 days of S4 ownership someone tried to swipe my 01 S4.
I always felt very safe I live in Morris county NJ & am the last house on a dead end street with a 200+ foot driveway & you can not see my cars from the street.
Someone had to know I had it as they did not go in any of my other cars & my wife's car was unlocked with the keys & her purse in it. & my truck was unlocked with the GPS on the dash.
I think it was the kid who did the insurance photo inspection of my car as he was talking to me about how fast the S4 is in the Newark street racing scene or someone followed me home.
Anyway I finished the job & now she is sitting in the garage & my 71 Cutlass convrt is outside.
I guess I will lock my cars from now on at least I would have heard the alarm.
& The bastards stole my Ipod

Depends on where you are: Near NYC is FTMFL.
I'm in NJ, nowhere near NYC and have absolutely no worries. Crime statistics back this up. My town and a neighboring town lead the NATION in low crime rates

what do you mean you finished the job , like you capped his bichaass? How far is this morris
county from newark and these other thefts?
I bet the ring of people stealing s4's is not that big, but they are prolific, and target all s4s in their range? Maybe?

I wish I capped is ***, But I had to finish popping the ignition so I could move the car into the garage. I felt with it half popped It would be an easy pic if he came back with the correct tools.
Took me a half an hour I guess I should not quit my day job to become a car theif.
I guess I am only 25-30 min west of Newark but it's a world away (or so I thought)

You should unhook your battery and lock your hood on the Cutlass. That should help detour them from
trying to steal that as well. Do you have a security lockout mode on your S? I would keep this engaged at all times in NJ.
