Default another important timing belt question

i am in the process of poping the cam sprockets with the gear puller and as i was tightening it down to the bolt the cam sprocket jerked all the way to the right which obviously isn't the regular "off".The cam is turned 180 degrees to the right , how screwed am I? The crancklock pin was already in.

Default This happened to me too! Just use your cam lockbar to pull the...

cam back in its proper position with those cam washers. If I recall correctly my pax cam shifted only 45 degrees though. Don't tighten the cam bolt down till you get the belt where it's supposed to be with the lock bar on.

Default Is is possible to leave the cam lock bar on when pulling the sprockets - maybe with a

two-arm gear puller?

Default

ding. 2 arm puller, and lean on the bar.
