Default Considered making a homebrew version of this...

You'd have to ensure your passengers-side IC's CO2 spray doesn't find its way into the intake tract. It won't hurt anything but your car will run richer.

The cry02 intake cooler seems like it would block airflow and cancel out the benefits of cooling.

Default How so? It's just a tube with holes in it...

Air flows around a tube quite effectively. Plus the IC core slows down the airflow in order to ensure proper heat-transfer. I don't see any problem with it.

Default intake cooler is a bulb in the actual intake tract that freezes with the co2

it doesnt do crap on a turbo car

For as cold as that air is going to get, should be worth it. I would go w/i before the bulb though.
