Any one in Colorado, or other HIGH ALTITUDE locations run rs6 ko4's?

Wondering what kind of turbo lag and drivability I would be looking at with 5-6k elevation in most places.
Thanks for any insight!

I didn't know Avalon did custom tuning on the B5, but I guess I should have guessed as much. Brian mentioned he was going to start offering it, but I never heard anything more, and that was several months ago. What SW were you running prior to the custom tune, how much of a difference did it make number wise, etc? Thanks man!
Wait, are you Chuck?

Yeah, I was Brian@Avalon's guinee pig in terms of being the 1st Stage 3 B5 S4 that they custom tuned. Originally, I had OTS GIAC software. It was decent, but definitely no where near its fullest potential. I took it to Brian and they custom tuned it -- went through quite a few revisions until they got it dialed in perfectly for altitude. I have a water/meth kit installed now and I hit consistent 3.9 FATS which for a PJK04 stage 3 at 6200 ft altitude with cats still on is pretty good IMHO. They could have tuned it more aggressively, but I wanted a safe and reliable tune that still put out respectable power.
Here's a link from a few months ago relative to my experience with Avalon. Hope this info helps.

Oh yeah, and what Wrinkled pants said -- while our cars are impacted being at high altitude, it affects naturally aspirated cars SO much more! It's nice actually -- cars that you can't compete with at sea level are now beatable cars up here. You'd have no problem beating Vipers, C6 Z06s, etc up here at altitude!![Wink](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
P.S. I'm not Chuck -- I'm Dante

That was done on a stage III+ homebrew I guess. This time, Brian built some special sauce for me and I think I juiced the turbos a bit more. :-)
