Any pictures of a single 12" sub intalled in an Avant?

Don't overlook a pair of 8"
They can provide some great bass in minimal space. Just be sure to put them in an enclosure designed for them.
Over the years, I have had:
Single 10" tube
Two 10" tubes
Pair of 12"
Single 15"
Single 15"
Pair of 12"
Pair of 12"
And I've built/installed a bunch in other people's cars.
I had put a pair of 8" in a friend's Explorer, and they sounded awesome. If I were to do something now, that's what I'd most likely do. But I think I've grown out of that, at least for now ;-)

I've toyed with the idea a few times of putting two small subs in my car, but
it just doesnt seem worth the cost and hassle for the benefit.
It want something like 2 8"s but with the amp, box and wiring im looking at atleast $600 and probably more right not including install?
Id love more crisp bass - perhaps that $200 amp, sub box unit would be a good idea?

I really wanna do a pair of JL 8w7's... I think that would rip!
I've been through quite a bit less...
4 6x9's (Polk audio sub box)
2 10's in a band pass
2 12's in sealed
2 10's in a ported
2 10's in a sealed
now I'm at 1 12 sealed (JL 12w7) I'm thinking about going back to 2 10's, or the 2 8's...

Yes, and it was perfect...

I had 1 12' and it was perfect in a small sealed box. It is really all you need as it would give the Avant some pretty serious bass without taking up much space.
Best of all two wires disconnect and the sub come out for more space. May not be perfect, but served it's purpose, looked clean, sounded great, took up very little space, and was easy to remove.
