Any Suggestions???

I'm going to be moving to Kansas City temporarily for 6 months in march. I cant decide whether I should bring the S out there and have it re-mapped with a 91 octane tune before I leave (since 93 is scarce in KC) or bring my 94 jetta instead and leave the S in CT? Is it bad to run a stage 3 S4 with a 91 octane program or will it just make less power?

Less power. It's optimized for 93, but it's not like it will just....

say "**** you" and spit out the 91 octane.

You shouldn't have issues. I'm running stg3 mapped for 93, using 91 here @3500-8000ft depending on

the day. It runs lean up top but I think that's just due to a ****ty OTS tune.

i'd like to be the first to welcome you to KC!

the highest octane i've seen is 92, and it's still rare.

i only know one other person with a b5 s4. i think it's a stg II. not many of us here.

if you haven't been to kansas city, the road quality sucks a big one and the roadways downtowns are confusing.
