Default good info, thanks. I've got a lot to think about now.

The garage is brand new, so prep work would be minimal. It's about 900 sqft in size.

still an important component is some sort of vapor/water barrier. Ask your product supplier.

Default Hmmm, I think prep work is the big deal with the Epoxy. I have dropped hammers, screwdrivers...

wrenches, and dragged a tranny across my floor and nothing happened. It is a little slick when wet, but ALL epoxies will be. Some tiles won't be, but some are. I researched this before doing my floor in my new house. The cost ratio, while may not be important to you, was a big deal also. Unfortunately I was on a budget!

Default How's it hard to clean? Spray it down, squeegee and let dry. Doesn't get any easier than that!

I think each situation is different. I was paranoid on putting the Epoxyshield down, but it has been nothing but great and no chips on anything dropped. I let mine sit though for a LONG time before putting stuff on it. And I could care less who invented it, the stuff works just fine. Half the crap out there in the world wouldn't be bought if we based it on the inventor.

Default How tall is the ceiling in your garage? What size are the doors?

Anything you'd change if you could?

Thanks.

Default Plenty of prep, even with new floor.

Carefully check the install instructions on whatever you choose. The instructions for the epoxy I used called for etching and power washing a new floor. Also, a new floor should allowed to age for a period of time before painting. I think it was a couple months.

The floor is slippery when wet, but I havent' found it to be a problem. I use rubber backed carpet runners over the pathways I normally walk on. Easy to move them out of the way when working.

Tiles aren't that cheap here. Any recommendations?
