Hi all
I am your typical daily driver S4 owner (no mods). Currently, I have a 2000 stock tiptronic and considering upgrading to an aftermarket exhaust (with a chip in store sometime in the future).
Is this too unorthodox of an order or harmful to the engine performing an exhaust upgrade first than a chip upgrade? I don't need more HP right now but instead want to spice up the sound and looks of the S4. Too weird?
TIA

oh yeah, it's been like that for about for the past 4 years ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
IMHO, an exhaust w/no chip isn't going to do really do anything -- BUT -- i think it "enhances" the experience sooo much... it sounds great..
when you take off the stock exhaust you'll see what i'm talking about
Down the road i may do more upgrades -- i think it's smart to get to know the car first before you start modding it.
