Default anybody have a run in with clk55 amg benz....
and what happened. How much hp does that benz make. It is a n/a v8 5.5 liters I believe. How heavy is the darn thing. Thanks

Default My dad has an '02 --> 342hp / 376 lb-ft, under 3500 lbs.
It's pretty darn fast. From a roll probably a little faster than a Stage II S4, but not quite as fast as a Stage II+ S4 (mostly due to the taller gearing in the CLK55, so watch out at high speeds even if you are Stage II+). The newer ones ('03-'04) have a little more HP but a little more weight as well, although the 6-speed automatic makes them just a tad faster than the '01-'02 models with the 5-speed automatic.

IIRC the new one is about the same as old since CLK does not get supercharger.

About 4 months ago, my dad got a "certified" '02 with 20k mi. for under $45k.
