What type of clutch do you have?
I have never talked to someone with a modded VR4, but I have heard from a couple sources that they go through clutches frequently. A friend met this one guy who had gone though 3 in a short time; this was back a few years ago though. I actually shyed away from Vr4s because of this. I do think the Vr4 is an underappreciated car; keep smoking people! Long live AWD, turbos, and manual trannies!
