I'm at 6000ft...and chipped. Messed around with one on the interstate the other day, from 90-120mph in 5th gear I put about 4 car lengths on him.

From searching those cars have close to 300hp...I never knew they were that quick. Even at this altitude I was impressed at how well he hung with me in traffic. Just curious to see peoples experience with these cars at sea level...where forced induction cars don't necessarily have the advantage.

It was funny actually .. We both made a left onto a 2 lane highway (2 turn lanes). I was on the outside lane and he was on the inside so after the turn he was naturally about 1 and a half car lengths ahead and I saw he punched it. SO I punched it in 2nd gear and started pulling up to him, then hit 3rd and I then walked past him fairly quickly. I was stage 2+ but he still held his own fairly well (I beat him but c'mon, I was stage 2+) ,..
Anyway the best part of the story ... This was a dealer car and it looked as though the salesman was in the passenger seat and let the driver gun it .. then he got beat by a four door sedan... Looks like I lost him a sale! haha

the z is stock... pulls very hard from a standstill, but doesnt pull as hard as my mildly modded s4 in the top end... off the line i feel like my z would get at least a car length ahead, but in the 40-90mph range, the s4 accelerates much harder. the z really is a darling on the track though!

Man, I was hoping for a good race, but the car just got well back in the mirror.

I was expecting a supra turbo like performance, when you get him on the launch and he starts reeling you in like a **** on the back end... making for a very interesting race

He stomped it and put about 1 to 1 1/2 cars on me. (I didn't know we were racing). Once I saw him launch I decided to catch up... top of second I was even. Middle of third I started walking on him. I shut it down at 2 car lengths worth of MTM ownage. He turned right from the middle lane. I guess he didn't want to chat at the light

I love our altitude advantage!
