I'm thinkin' about choppin' out the cats, so I figure why not just chop out the precats as well instead of fvcking with trying to gut 'em.
Seems that it would only help to smooth out the flow, imo. Opinions welcome =)

pipes...probably want a spare set of DP to compare with or at least for backup in case it does not go according to plans. This to me would seem very time consuming as opposed to just gutting the pre-cats.

interrupted flow due to not having straight pipe where the pre-cats used to be....like on aftermarket DPs. I have no idea how much of an effect it really has, but I'm sure it can't be helping anything.

care to explain?
I think it would smooth flow, with a straight pipe as opposed to a hollowed out pre-cat that is most certainly not staight flow.
I dont know, but seems like a good idea. plus saves hasle of chipping!
Just my $0.02
