Default Anyone done a compression test on their engine recently?

WHere do you get that done? ANd am I understanding correctly that this would how me how much blow by is occuring?

And how much time/$$ does it cost?

Yes. VAST Performance did one for me. It wasn't very time consuming and results were great.

Where are you located? I had mine done @ ICS Performance 6 mo. ago, good results!

Default Oh, I'm not a fan of them at alll... think they are way too hot. i had a misfiring problem, brought

it to them, it costed 1500, YES 1500 dollars to fix my problem. parts were coilpacks, coolant temp sensor and plugs... rest was labor because it was a "headache job" according to them.

Default that job is easy to fix it is a Do it your self one, that is crazy 1500.00 for that..

dude i change my own plugs is about 1 hour with a friend to help hold the coolant tank out of the way, coolant temp sensor is a 10 min job when the engine is cold, that price include good parts ( OEM equal? I am not going to get into my issue with them but on public forms but I think they are going to make good on it.

lol @ 1500 - how do you let a shop do that to you? maybe ur s4 was the first one they worked on
