Default Anyone done just the L10 valve body?

If so, how much "thud" should one expect when it downshifts to 1st and 3rd?

Default those arent the thuds you feel in the L10 vb and most people do just TC becaue thats the weak link

you feel the 5-4 downshift and the 1-2 upshifts alot more. In tip mode the 2-1 downshift has some clunk too but when coming to a stop i put it back in D to avoid this. The DTS and snub mount help these problems alot

Default i have both TC and VB...vegas is right...

thud is there most noticably from 2-1 and I also put it into D when coming to a stop.

don't have dts so i can't speak to that.

Default question about our clunky Lvl10

In tip mode, I also clunk from a 2-1 stop. But in auto mode, there is no such clunk. Why? Is it the tip ecu?

Default I would guess that it has something to do with the TCU programming. My old 01 A6 Tip

car would do this from stock, but my 02 allroad doesn't in stock form <shrugs>??

Default The tip map and the D map have different line pressures. Less in D hence the lack of clunk.....

its why i always shift back into D when coming to a stop.
