Anyone else disappointed with Michelin PS2?

Road hazard protection has more than payed for itself with my set of PS2's. I got a bubble in one a week after mounting them. Since then I started running 38/36 psi. Then I got a blown sidewall in one a year later.
While I feel the tire itself is sticky I don't think they are all that great for the money.
One thing I can't really complain about is treadlife. I have 16k on them now and I'm only down 2/32" from new, but I do a lot more highway travel now than in the past.
I think I'll try Dunlop SP Sport Max next.
