All this warranty talk aside, it might be worth asking the dealer about it.
Alcantara shouldn't do that, its rated to some obscenely large number of rubs before having piling problems, 200,000 or something like that.

Warranty voided then, for using the seats in a non-Audi approved manner.
I'd make some comment about the only screwing going on must involve Audi, but that just doesn't seem quite right ;-)
