Has your hood ever been painted other than from the factory?

Default I had a couple that were the same size, which prompted me to get a clear bra.

It seems that the laser red paint is eaily chip-able then what would be considered normal.

As I mentioned before, I took my time and used touch up paint and had a clear bra installed. Problem solved! Cant even tell where the touchup was done.

Default seems abnormal. I have one just like yours above the headlight...

mine appeared on the edge of the hood right above the grill trim. For my black paint, I found that Harley Davidson touch up works wonders. I love that stuff, must be made of lead still, heh.

Probably just bad luck + soft paint. I have chips of varying degrees.

Default um, can't help you there. Have you STFA for similar problems? I thought I saw something once that

we have thin paint and it chips easily.
