Question - does the fact that the car is running hot due to extreme weather put additional strain on the engine/turbos? Should I take precautions and lay off WOTs in extreme heat while running the AC or does it not matter?

My oil temp never reach 225 even yesterday with 104 outside temp.
The water temp never move from straigh up position wether it is 40 or 100 outside. Sometimes I wonder if it is stuck and can't get past that position.
I don't have much of stop and go traffic either.

I didn't have the two clicks up on my temp gauge, but I did not a little over normal. As far as oil temp is concerned, on a hot day, I can definitely reach >250.

Simply because the air is hotter and therefore, less dense, the turbos have to work a bit harder in order to build the boost up. For instance, if it's cold, the air is more dense, and therefore the turbos have to work less in order to build the same amount of boost.
Regardless, you car should still be fast, unless it's 100 degrees with 100% humidity...then s4 = cow.
