I was refering to the fact they make 2 different versions, one to mounted ontop one to be underneath

you have the under version....

as to the plastic cracking, I wouldn't worry too much, it is a glass reinforced material...

hmm? according to aerocatch, both are availible with or without a lock,,, your pic shows the non

lock version anyway?

oh, now I got it. I seem to have the underneath mounted version. The bolts have nuts to hold it.
