anyone every gotten a vag-com off ebay
looking for a vag-com and through AWE its like 230 bucks but the ones off ebay are about 50 wondering if anyone has gotten any of those and if they work correctly?

FYI, I don't believe that the software is transferrable
so unless it comes with a HEX-COM cable (which has a built in dongle of sorts) you are only buying a cable off of eBay. You still have to buy the software from Ross-Tech.
The HEX-COM allows you to use the software for free.

If it is the Hex-COM or Hex-USB Cable + S/w GO FOR IT !!! If its just the s/w version avoid !
eBay has rules on selling licensed s/w
I've had v.bad experiences buying sw on eBay
However with the VAG Hex Cable-Dongle the key is built into the h/w and it's licensed forever.
