Anyone find S4 suspension a bit too firm?

.
I know this is probably a stupid question, but I'd like to find out what people think about the S4's suspension. A review of the S4 in USAToday about a year ago said the S4 suspension can be punishing at times.
I know comfort is a tradeoff when good handling is at stake, but I don't want to give up comfort completely.
I'm concerned because the city where I live has some pretty poor streets (ie: potholes) and I'm afraid the ride will be too rough.
By the way, I have a friend in the Boston area and he says the S4 rides just fine.

I drive in/out of Boston with my S, to/from Northeastern and I have yet to find the ride too harsh. Compared to the Honda that I used to drive, I can now feel what's going on underneath my car and able to counteract any adverse affects.
Kudos to the Audi engineers...
Although, I would appreciate it if some of the body roll would dissapear... but that's all in due time.
My $0.02.

actually...i think it is ok for most boston and boston area street...excpet the HUGE potholes....normally you'll be fine. Actually alot of sport sedans are actually stiffer...I think the S4's stokc suspension is a great balance of ride/handling...at times i actually wish it would be just a tad stiffer to counteract bodyroll and have its butt a little more planted during hard braking...but overall i'd have to say its not punishing compared to whats out there in its class...

when you are going over those rippled beat roadways it can be a bit abrupt, but that is more a function of the low profile tires & wheels, not the suspension.
