Very common, mine was fixed under warranty

Nope, you gotta live with it or replace the whole unit which is rather expensive.

Can we use a regular A4 cluster and replace spedo, rpm face plates etc.

I know of one person who is working on a repair.

I don't have a lot of hope, though.
