Default IMO the key is spacers - otherwise once you go lower they start to look "pushed in"....
I have 15mm spacers (10mm should be fine, too, IMO) and the wheels are pretty flush with the fenders. Of course this stuff is very subjective....
I personally think think the stock Avus wheels look great lowered the way I have it - and you get a better ride than with an 18" wheel...
