anyone guess the pressure difference between compressor and intake manifold (at WOT/redline)?

I'm thinking about buying a differential pressure gauge to see what kind of pressure loss we have, just for the hell of it. I seriously doubt it's much over 2-3 psig. Having a new AVC-R and vastperf. TCD in the mail has me thinking about turbos and boost, etc.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Once you know the max normal pressure difference, I think you could install a pressure switch to detect boost leaks. Does that sound right? thanks

one of the pressure switches you can buy from Napa would work, just plumb the "reference" side to manifold pressure and the pressure side to the compressor and tadow. $15 warning light.

You gotta keep doing something to the car after the major mod money starts running low![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Actually, I have a very steady 2 psi boost leak right now. I lemmied the timing up 5.25 deg and wondered why it took it so well.. It liked the advanced timing because the boost wasn't where it should be.
I did a pressure test and didn't hear the slightest leak. Someone mentioned the N75 valve as a possible culprit. I just spent $100 to replace it a few months ago, as a preventative measure. I'll throw the old one back in and see what happens.
Regardless, it would be nice to have a light come on when the pressure difference is 1psi or so more than it should be. It wouldn't help with a bad N75 but you know what I'm talking about.
