Default Anyone have a audio clip of turbos in a stock car?
I did a search and all the clips I came across were no longer hosted. I want to compare the sound of regular turbos to mine. Heck maybe even blown ones just to make sure mine are ok.

Default i would be surprised if a sound clip would pick up the sound of stock turbos
they really don't make any noise until they are chipped, if that's what you're looking for.

if they are making noise and you don't want to replace them, I would suggest going back to the stock ECU. I did that and still had a lot of fun on street and track even with only 250hp. the car was totally reliable.

Stop worrying. If they're blown, the sound is unmistakeable. A little whine is normal.

spyhunter smoke screen is often a good indicator too.

If the whine is pretty audible with the windows up but barely audible with them down should I worry?

Default Sometimes it gets pretty loud so I get worried
but ya it is mainly when the car is cold and not under boost.

Natural B5 S4 paranoia. It will pass after you replace your turbos, only to find out they were fine.
