Default Anyone have ECUx running with a HEX-COM/CAN Ross-Tech cable and version 805?

I can't for the life of me get the cable to work with ECUx.

I have a HEX+CAN serial cable that was updated with the latest firmware from VAG-COM (VCDS, whatever) 805.

It communicates perfectly in VAG-COM and ASP's SpeedSWITCH program through COM1.

With ECUx, nothing I do can make it work. It always comes back with a communication error. I've tried different baud rates, and different methods of connecting (standard, accurate, uart).

I'm going crazy here. Is it just an incompatibility with the newer firmware in the HEX+CAN cable?

Default I have a feeling it might be the new 1.78 firmware in my HEX+CAN cable that ECUx doesn't like.

And I just spoke to Andy at Ross-Tech: there's no downgrading.
