anyone have experience w/ a 2004 Volkswagen Passat Sedan GLX? pros/cons?

My mom needs a new car and can't afford an Audi. </audi content> TIA!

Good car. If space is not an issue, you could get a Jetta...

Similar engine and relative options.

totally different car. GLX passat is AWD no? GF has it, great car. similar to ours

in all non-obvious ways.

Yes, forgot it's a 2004. I think the GLX is only 4MOTION now.

It will be Torsen in 2004 and then I think the next versions they were talking about moving to Haldex. Just buy a CPO B6 A4, even though the Passat is much better looking than a B6.

Have her check out the next gen of Passat...saw some magazine testing them on the 210

they look nice.

Have her buy a 2 yr old CPO A6!

Depreciation is horrible on those cars...I'll bet she could get one for not much more than that VW.
