Three weeks later (from the first 3 pictures) it got Chip here.

Kind of a stressful three weeks but well worth the end prize.
Pat can relate as I know he worked very hard to get his car where it was to win Nationals in a short period of time. Good show Pat!!

Was the cage work farmed out or done in-house?
Also, what shape is the body in when you start? Do you dip it to remove all of the paint and then seem weld it?
STaSIS has gone through this process a few times now. Clearly, you are getting it all down to a fine science. :-)

And I swear I'm not one to nit-pick, but I just didn't like one thing from their web site:
"Our mission is to meticulously inspect and prepare your vehicle so that it is solid throughout, and all safety equipment is properly designed and installed."
Then the picture below is of a fuel cell installed in the spare tire well. Which is fine and dandy, but I don't know a sanctioning body that will allow that particular setup to run on the track. Per SCCA and NASA CCR's, a polycarbonate cell has to have at least .036" steel, .059" aluminum, or .125" Marlex container completely enclosing the bladder. Not to mention there is no bulkhead/firewall separating the driver's compartment from the cell, filler, vent. I just wanted to point that out...

The page in question
