If you live near San Diego or even LA there is a guy who I believe is the only plastic bumber repairman I have ever heard of. Usually you would have to buy a new bumber. My 2001 S4 Avant was one week old when it received its first (and luckily only) chin bashing. You couldn't see it standing up...but like all of us...you know its there. This guys name is David O'bine and his company is BumperMedic. I would never have heard of him but saw a card at a car wash. His website is: http://www.bumpermedic.com
He comes to you in a fully equipped van and custom mixes the paint and toners by weighing them on a scale. I was impressed he found Nogaro Blue in his paint code book. It took about 1 and 1/2 hours and was $250. He even gave me the leftover paint for touchup. If you come San Diego on vacation or traveling he is a really great guy and meticulous. I challege people to find the repaired area and they can't. I recommend him completely.
