I am just looking for an inexpensive way to drop the car a little bit. Think these will do?<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/suspension.jsp?&amp;make=H%26R&amp;model=Sport+Spr ing+Set&amp;group=Sport+Spring+Set&amp;autoMake=Au di&amp;autoModel=S4+Sedan&amp;autoYear=2002&amp;au toModClar=&amp;partNum=29477.1&amp;perfCode=P">T

Default Ya for sure...if you're just looking for a moderate drop this is the best for

you.

I'm looking into springs myself and keep switching back and forth between H&amp;R Race 1.9/1.5 and Eibach 1.7/1.3

everytime I think I've made up my mind that eibach is good enough I see a car with the race springs and think I can pull it off lol.

Default Why not spend a bit more than you would on springs and shocks ...

...and get true ride height adjustability ... and a better product ...<ul><li><a href="http://www.avalonmotorsports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&amp;cPath=1_2_12& amp;products_id=71&amp;zenid=41030a696fa84b683a983 b7b90af8c62">Coil Overs</a></li></ul>

Default i've got these springs and they're great

drop is pretty good, and the ride is much better i think than stock. i'm also running stock shocks. I dont have a good pic of it but if you are interested i'll try and get one for you. its lower by about an inch<ul><li><a href="http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=135">Vogtland Club Spec</a></li></ul>

Default In the same boat...can't justify coilovers and am never going to track the car

I want something that "won't break" (ie stuck coilover adjuster) and I can just intall and forget about.

I have read countless stories on this forum and others about coilovers and frankly they seem like a headache for my application. Granted, you get what you pay for and cheap Ebay coilovers are almost assuredly asking for trouble. Lots of people don't care for them correctly and threads strip, the adjusters are frozen due to poor maintenance, etc. Also seem to be a number of NVH complaints about certain coilovers/group buys/etc.

Don't think I'm going to be out there every weekend "dialing-in" my ride height nor raising up/lowering every fall and spring to correspond to weather/road conditions.

I'll probably get the H&amp;R or Eibachs with a nice set of Bilstein Sport shocks/struts and be happy with that set-up.

you'll love em. ride height is perfect. ride kind of sucks w/ stock dampers but it's drivable.

Default Driveable? how sucky are we talking? Boston roads are bad...

do you mean sucky as stiff and rigid or sucky as in bouncy and doesnt match well with stock shocks?
