Im wondering if anyone here knows of a cradle that plugs into the cigarette lighter maybe for this phone? I found one on a bunch of websites that use a sticky or screw mount, but one in the cig lighter would be ideal. I remeber someone posting pics of their phone in a cradle in that area (underneath the armrest). I would go for the whole car kit but I really dont wanna spend 250 on the kit and more on install. Thanks a lot.

I have the radio removal tools if you need to use them (you're in Deerfield correct?).
Anyway, if you look at the picture, the iPOD is mounted on the Pro-Fit mount. You can get a generic phone holder - also, if you want to splurge on the hands free kit - I've installed 4 of these and could help you if you want to save on labor. You could also do the hands-free through the radio with auto mute, etc. using the DB25 connector in the trunk (I've done this as well....)
If you want to do it the cheapest and cleanest way - get a Pro-Fit and a gnereic phone holder.
Let me know if you need help.<ul><li><a href="http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/">http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/</a</li></ul>

I actually already have that pro fit mount in place, but the cradle is fit for a nokia 6430 phone (my old one). I'll just go get that generic mount. Btw- Your car is a beast, and I saw the other day your thinking about an fmic! That would be nuts. I may need to go for another ride in it this summer! See you soon

little plastic Nokia piece on the inside of the cradle - pry it out with a flat head screw driver - you'll then see a screw and from there it's self explanatory.
Also, do you already have a hands free kit installed? If so, you already have power in the general area and putting in an extra power outlet in the glovebox is very simple - I use it for my iPOD's power.
As far as the FMIC, I'm just waiting for it to arrive - it's been ordered - should be great!
