After TONS of research I went with the direct lift pro-park 8 4 post lift.
Check some of the pics here:

If I were you I'd go with the pro-park 9S listed here for the extra capacity and size
https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2900930.phtml
Some points that made me get the pro-park
-It has the best and up to date safety features and locks
-It's certified by the ALI and the other big one (which means it had to be independently tested)
-It's a great value
-Nothing but rave reviews from others
Reasons why I went 4 post over 2:
look at the second quote and down here:
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3424410&postcount=130
-It's super movable with the heavy duty casters that came with it. I could move it alone if need be. Also, it doesn't need to be bolted down at all.
This lift sounds like it's exactly everything you're looking for. Like I said, I'd get the 9s if budget isn't critically important because you'll have the extra weight capacity as well as
the extra length for the yukon and van. I would also get at least one of these sliding bridge jacks as well, they're awesome!

For price, look on ebay and call bestbuy in Cali and Derek Weaver co. to find all of their best prices (the lift usually includes 3 drip trays, 1 jack tray, and the wheel casters), then call GregSmith and have them price match. You'll definitely save a couple hundred if you go pick it up too.
BTW, since getting it I'm really impressed with the quality and value of the lift. It really is heavy duty! Good luck and let us know how it goes!

That's my buddies garage, not mine ;-) Great place to work on cars though. But a lift like that is perfect for a home garage. I think his can hold 10,000 lbs. So more than enough for your parents vehicles. Oh and why moveable? Seems kind of pointless to have to move a lift... do it once, do it right and then don't touch it again, haha.
