Default Anyone here use overwattage (80W) H7's in their fog lights?
just curious who has done this, and if peopel have had problems with their wiring etc.

Run 'em in my highlight circuits without issue if that helps.

Default you mean your hi beam?
i would think they would be fine there, since no one really drives with high beams on for more than a coupel seconds...

Yeah, they have been fine in the Valeos even with prolonged operation.

Default I've got 100W H7 in my fogs and 70W for high beam
and have had no problems with melted reflectors or wiring. But I rarely use the fogs and high beams are only for a very short period of time.

I've been running 70W fogs for a coupla years now...no problems

i have higher wattage bulbs but just used some bulb grease, no problems
