Default ANyone install Bosch 044 and have problems starting right away?

Im in CA heat, not cold weather, but if I leave the car for more than 2 hours it will lose pressure (im guessing) and take up to 8 seconds of cranking to get her started..

If its less than an hour then she starts up right away..

Does this indicate I have a leak in perhaps one of those fuel lines? Im gonna check with it running...

They tell me this pump has the check valve on top..
well, any ideas appreciated, thanks guys.

There was a post on this just yesterday. Does your pump have the inline check valve?

Default So I guess its common then. (according to posts) : (

Dap why does it lose pressure? Do I need more than one check valve?

https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/2819250.phtml</a

Default Unless the supplied check-valve is somehow faulty, it should be fine.

Check for leaks elsewhere in the fuel system where pressure could be lost.

If it started right after the pump install, I'd pull out the pump and check over the lines and connection points closely.

Whatever it takes to keep them from leaking.
