Default Anyone know any important distinctions betwen RS4 Spoiler and Clairparts Spoiler?

I know the RS4 had the mounting posts, and this one is flush and comes with sand paper and epoxy (scary).

Any other important differences?

Sincerely,
Currently only interested in show mods for some unknown reason.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audipartssuperstore.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=444">Clairparts Spoiler</a></li></ul>

Default We just brought an RS4 in for DocWyte. It came primered and....

the body shop just had to trim the posts off. Apparently everything else went very smooth. He is supposed to be posting pics at the end of the week.

Default check out MarkP's post about these.... according to him, they are the same.

the link 'Avant Rear-Window Spoiler Options ' has the differences.

Default Thanks. I have been on MarkPs site before (quite thorough!) but had not seen that link.

Thought about tagging him for feedback because I remember when he was posting on his decision process.

Default Actually, Doc had the CP on his old ride. After researching...

The part number shows up as a Votex part, meaning it is essentially an aftermarket-OEM piece, if that makes sense.

The CP wing looks moderately similar to the OEM from the outside view. The difference (from what we can tell) is that the OEM has a dimple on the back underside. Basically, instead of having a smooth line across the rear underside, the OEM has a slight arch across the underside.

Does that help?

Default I will. Keep in mind that the actual comparison was solely based on Doc's memory of his CP part..

In looking at Sonny's wing on the laser red avant, his has the dimple too, though I am not sure if that is the OEM or CP.
