Anyone know how I can change the wood trims for the aluminium ones?

Go into the FAQ section of this site and check the Interior FAQ,...
there is an "article" on Aluminum Interior Trim. It's about modifying the look of the A4 trim. You will however be able to see the work you have ahead of you. You can also obtain the Carbon Fiber trim from Europe and do that as well. This is not for the faint of heart. I really wish the Carbon Fiber was an option here in the USA.

you have to take the door panels AND the whole dash out. i have the Alu and wanted the grey wood...
... Ken @ McDonald Audi (here in Denver) had the Black/black w/this wood and wanted the Alu. SOooo we swapped... the doors are done and the dash(es) have to be taken out to finish.
we're gonna have an Audi tech finish it.

Do you know anyone else wanting to do the same....
I am in New York, don't mind driving somewhere reasnobly nearby. I pressume its easy to arrange an Audi tech to do it. Like I said I have the grey wood that comes with the black interior. Please let me know.
