want to do it right. I'm not too familiar with this section of the car. Also got a new F-Hose. Have VERY bad surging power and a bad kick occassionally depending on when I let off the throttle. :/

check the APR site for the install of their stub. I think it's pretty detailed.

Default You need to remove the bumper and put the lock carrier in the service position.

It has been done without doing this though. You can remove the male bracket that the snub rides on. <insert creep thoughts> It's held on by 3 or 4 allen bolts and you apparently need to shave a tool down to make it work. I've looked under there and it looks tough to do it that way.

STFA.

I want to avoid any added vibration in the cockpit. Is there a recommendation for accomplishing this

Default A snub mount shouldn't make any noticeable difference, but they are a harder durometer than stock.

So in theory they will transmit more energy from the engine to the chassis. But if the snub is centered in the female side, no vibrations should transfer until the motor moves under acceleration.

Stiffer motor mounts will make a much more noticeable difference.
