anyone know how to turn polished mirror caps into brushed mirror caps? what tools would i use?

If it is anything like the Tiptronic bezel, I started with 200 grit and then used 400 grit.

Default thats great. brillo pads, soap and water. The only thing is how should i deal with the pitted clear

coat. Lightly sand it of then use brillo to brush them out?

Default As long as the bling is gone thats cool with me. I ditched the polished hre's for brushed wheels,

now its time to lose the polished mirror caps. The caps in that writup look pretty good imo. I think the rs4 caps are brushed with a "matte finish" of some sort, so they probably wont be close but it should still look good.
