I was reading the audio manual about the SVC feature and came across this one. The settings vary between 1 and 5. I can't notice any difference. My "turn on volume" is what I last set the volume **** to when I turn off the stereo. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what this feature actually does.

Yes it works. Turn the radio up loud then turn it off. When turned back on it will go to the preset

I have the "power on volume" set to 1 and guess what, regardless how screaming it was when powered off, it screams at the same level when turned on.

SVC works though, but that's another feature.

This is a Bose stereo, fwiw.
