Default Depends on setup.
I have seen anywhere from 12psi to 26psi. All depends on software, supporting mods, fueling and internal mods.

Default He asked about the RS4, not K04. RS4 apec says 1.2 bar (page 36).

Default we can read the boost pressure about 2100mbar in page 30 of ssp245.
spec data sheet says maximum boost 1.20bar, but the graph says 1.1bar in stock RS4 and lower than stock S4 below about 2400rpm. I felt heavier in stock RS4 in that speed range compared to stock S4.
