Default Nope, It appears that in the archives,

in the arcives that the best way is to use e VAG tool....

Not sure about this, but it appears as though you have to "recalibrate" the computer to "learn" the desired normal setting. Not sure, but the info seems to point in this direction.....is it alright to manually adjust the headlight, then not need to "reset" the computer to this new setting?

Thanks....

I've manually adjusted before and did not change anything with the VAG - they work fine

Default Could you tell me what adjustment screws do what on the headlight housings?

That is,

As far as I know, there are two adjustment screws for each headlight housing. I would think that one is for the left-to-right adjustment and the other is for up-and-down adjustment.

Which ones is for the up-and-down adjustment?

And which one is for the left-and-right adjustment?

Thanks....

Default I forget which one is which without looking...they are white and plastic....

Unfortunately, I keep my car in the parking lot rather than in my actual office....

Anyway, there are 2 like you said - make sure you park on a flat surface in the dark with the lights on and aimed at a garage or wall - then, start turning (at least that's what I did) - I made it seem right and have not been flashed with the brights since then...I think one of mine was aimed too high...it was a long time ago but, if I remember correctly you can't really break anything - just trial and error - I know for sure I turned the wrong one first and just turned it back...

it is really easy

I did too, but after five minutes, and engine off, they went to original aim upon start-up
