The drain plug and oil filter are easily accessible once the belly pan is removed.
Steps are as follows:
1. Drive the car up on ramps.
2. Remove the plastic belly pan (a bunch of 1/4 turn screws)
3. Open the drain plug at the bottom of the oil pan and let the oil drain into an oil pan.
4. Remove the oil filter using a good filter wrench. I have one with three claws that tighten down on the filter. Others here like the strap type wrenches.
5. Put the drain plug back in.
6. Put a little fresh oil on the rubber gasket of the new oil filter and screw it on hand tight.
7. Fill up the car with ~6.5 qts of oil.
8. Start the car and check for any leaks. If none are found, back it down the ramps.
9. Let the car idle for a few minutes and then shut it off and check the oil level. Add oil if necessary to top it off. The specs call for 6.9 qts, but I've found that a full 7 qts is perfect.
I've seen a few detailed writeups here so if you search I'm sure you could find them. If you really need assistance when the time comes and can't find someone closer, let me know.
I change my oil every 5k miles and I use Mobil1 0W40.
