Default anyone noticed how close the headers are to the air intake pipes going to the turbos

that is probably raising air intake charge temps a lot

Default Good thought....

I'm sure people have checked into it though, otherwise there'd be modifications for it, right? There are ceramic coated manifolds available, and reflective insulation on the turbo intakes isn't a bad idea. If you have a custom intake, how about routing the "ram air" to that intake pipe, and the same thing on the other side? Or is this insignificant to begin with?

Default all one would need to do is wrap the whole maf / intake pipe and log IAT's

then again you have the y-pipe sitting over the hot *** engine so I doubt it would help anyways...the charge pipes also run right past the heads and get hot as hell too so I think it's a lost cause unless you want to go nuts and coat your whole intake system...my 2 cents
