Anyone other than Hal and Jeff successfully using Flyboy's ECUx spreadsheet?

I keep getting run time errors and a request to debug when I attempt to upload an ECUx .csv

with WinXP. I believe it's with the way the different systems locate files.
2) When did you download the spreadsheet? The most recent version has a button to "clear all data" and a "Combo chart".
3) Are you enabling Macro's when you open the spreadsheet?
4) Are there any other spreadsheets open when you run that program. If so, that will crash it. It does some copy and pasting of data and other open spreadsheets will cause problems.
If none of these fix the problem could you provide a little more detail about what you do when you get the errors. I've run the program on a couple different systems successfully, but it's not a terribly robust program, so you need to play by it's rules to get it to work right.

So none of those fix my problems.
More detail, hmmm....
I hit "get ECUx data" and choose file, then I get the error.
"run time error '9'
subscript out of range"
A window pops up showing this message and your options are end, debug, or help. Help did not explain it in any terms I understood.
TIA!

If you could paste the line into a post I could then take a look here and see if I can't guess why it's failing. It sounds like there's something about the file you're importing. Could you email the csv file to me, then I can try to reproduce the error on my computer. Have you tried to import a different csv file?

Workbooks(2).Worksheets(1).Cells.Copy _
Destination:=Workbooks("4xECUx.xls").Worksheets("1 ").Range("A1")
That is the section of code highlighted. <shrug>
All the files I'm trying to use are uploaded to Nye's site so you can see the raw data there:

file to import each of the csv files you linked to. The excel file and csv file are working fine for me.
When you downloaded the file, did the file name remain 4xECUx.xls ? And there are no other excel files open when you do the import? My other guess is that perhaps it's a macro security setting. Do you get a single prompt to enable macros when you open the 4xECUx file, or multiple prompts.
The program is failing when it tries to copy the data from your csv file to the first page in the spreadsheet. When I've run into this issue it been because of a naming problem, the 4xECUx file name being changed, or having multiple open speadsheet files.
Here's the step by step of what I do.
1. Open Excel
2. Open the 4xECUx file
3. Enable macros when prompted
4. Select Get ECUx Data
5. Use the file open box to find the ECUx csv file I want to import and select open.
6. It will present a prompt depending on whether or not data was found. (It sounds like you are getting this far).
If you're following these steps and it isn't working there's something outside of the program causing issues.
