Anyone pick up their '01 S4 yet? Is it true that they won't release until July 1st?

I dont' think anyone has a 01 S4..there's plenty of 2000's left, I don't know why people just don't

my '01 arrived at Port of San Diego 6/16 but hasn't left there yet
My '01 Silver/Onyx supposed arrived in the Port of San Diego on 6/16 (ultimately heading for San Francisco). As of last Friday it was still there, so it seems at this rate it sounds like it'll be at least July 1 before it gets into my hands. 
curious...where did you hear that they wouldn't release until 7/1?

had to go w/ a 2000
just totalled my 98Avant, insurance will pay for the rental (Jetta) for 30 days, can't wait for a 01, told 3 month wait, and a 2000 S4 to my specs was found in Atlanta, and one in Kansas almost perfect...but with a serious discount (hehe) Im taking the Laser/onyx off thier hands...for the color compromise & and lack of heated seats, I'm getting an S4 for invoice + 5%....after a lot of whining I got the windows tinted....

I heard because they are '01 model, so they have to wait til 3rd Quarter of the yearto release...
the new model. Don't know if that's true..but with this rate, I guess we have to wait til July anyway.

i've been told repeatedly from my order specialist that I should expect my car in early- to mid- July. From what I read in the archives, it usually takes around 2 weeks or so to get out of port so that puts it right at the beginning of July for me.
sure hope it doesn't get held up until October (and I wouldn't imagine the dealer would gain anything..other than my anger
..from telling me a delivery date 3 months before I would actually get it)!!<p>--
