Anyone put a windsurfing (or surfing) rack on an S4 sedan? Suggestions?

You can get bars (Thule, Yakima, etc) that attach to the roof rails on the Avant. I've had 4 pair of skis up to 125 mph and 2 mtn bikes up to 105 mph with no problems. You should have no problem on a sedan either with a proper rack system.

I can't tell from your pic but I have the 415's + the mtb rack (see pic below) but I noticed you have a different setup. Your setup looks more secured with the front wheels off and bike fork mounted on the rack with a screw. Whats the Thule product # or product name of your mtb rack?

The bars sit a bit higher than the 415. I used to use the bike carriers like yours (older model though), but they were a little unstable. The fork mount makes it easier to put the bike on top and it's more stable. Of course, you have to either get the wheel carrier for the rack or put the front wheel inside the car (I have wheel bags).

removing the front wheel and putting it in the trunk is no big deal for me, besides, i'd rather spend an extra 5 mins removing the front wheel knowing that it'll be more secured when I mount it on the rack. I've experienced a lot of wind noise and some vibrations with my mtb racks (non fork mounts) on higher speed (55-65) so i'm just looking for alternative mtb rack system like yours with front fork mount. Where can I get (url is appreciated) those bike racks?

I'd swap your down-tube bike racks for a fork mount system like Craig's and mine. Much more stable at speed and in corners. I've seen down-tube mount systems "drop" a bike on the highway...which is never fun.

If (when) I buy more bike trays, I'll get the Rocky Mounts long tray ($49.95). It comes in blue too (not shown).
