Anyone running the grooved Bilsteins with stock springs?????
Don't really want to drop it more than 1/2-3/4" (sh*tty roads in Ohio), and been-there-done-that with the slammed thing. I just want to firm it up a bit. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Yep
I had ride height issues, but I added new grooves and leveled it out.

As you can see it's a bit high in the front and lowered a bit in the rear, for the winter I just moved the rear groove up one inch for the extra clearance.

A little up in the breeze.
For summer I added a groove on the front 1.1" lower than the original and moved the rear back to where it was, dropped it down nicely.

Ride can be a bit stiff at times because of the bilsteins valving, slalom type stuff is much improved as is initial turn in, very well damped. Ride height seems to go up a notch on very hot days when flogging the shocks.
I ran around for a few days with one stock shock in the front and one bil in the other front, the side with the bilstein seemed anchored, and the stock side sorta flopped around.

I have had them for about 8k miles and have been very pleased
However, I have nothing to compare them to -- never ridden in another S4 with upgraded suspension. Got them about eight months ago from AWE.

I'd say 1/2" up in the rear and 1/2" down in the front would be about the drop you want.
I'm on the lookout for a used set of MTM springs though, want a bit more roll resistance and anti-dive for prolonged loads.
