Default They've had pretty favorable reviews on here (Kumho Ecsta SPT). I have to buy summers in the next

month. I'm either going with the Ecsta SPT or the Sumitomo HTR Z III. I've read good things about both of those tires, and they're cheap.

Default I'm on my second set of SPT's.

Good tire for everyday driving, cheap, good in the rain. I'll probably get a 3rd set when these are done.

Thanks. I just called ETD and they quoted me at $154 a tire for everything. Is that a good deal?

I was happy with 711s and 712s on my A4...the SPTs sound good for the S though

Default Does that include mounting and balancing? If not, it's not that great of a deal.

I'm looking at 235 40 18 and Tire Rack wants $136 per tire shipped to me. Discount Tire is asking $147 per tire but that includes new stem valves, road hazard insurance, and free lifetime tire rotations. If you're buying smaller tires, it should be even cheaper.

I have SPTs and they are really good street tires, but when I ran them at Mid-Ohio last summer in 90 degree heat they got pretty greasy by the middle of my runs. I was pushing in the corners a lot more than I was happy with.
